Veronika by Fotografiska

Veronika was a place of excess and decadence. Caviar, Champagne, succulent chocolate desserts, juicy steaks, and freshly caught seafood decorated the menu. It sat on the second floor of the Fotografiska Museum, the largest photography museum in the world, on Park Ave. This is where New York dressed for dinner. Celebrities were seen dining and enjoying their wine among other elite New Yorkers. The wine list consisted of all the vintage Champagne your heart could desire, all five Bordeaux First Growths, aged Riesling, and some interesting “Worldy” selections. I was dedicated to staff training, and sourcing wines for the by-the-glass and by-the-bottle list, while maintaining current inventory. In summer 2024, we received Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence. Veronika NYC closed its doors in June 2024. There are still locations in Berlin and Shanghai.
